Update on DMPS Events and Activities for Thursday, January 23

As a result of today’s cancellation of classes due to dangerously low temperatures and a wind chill warning in effect until noon, all extracurricular events and activities scheduled for today at Des Moines Public Schools are also cancelled. This includes athletic events.

For DMPS schools and students participating in away games and other extracurricular events or activities at a school district in session today or at a non-DMPS facility, those will be held as scheduled.
