Evening Activities Cancelled at DMPS for January 5

Due to the forecast this afternoon and evening for snow and low temperatures, all high school athletic events and middle school activities at Des Moines Public Schools are cancelled today.

Classes will dismiss at their normal time and the Metro Kids afterschool program will operate as normal.

There will be no middle school activities bus.

High school varsity teams may hold voluntary practices starting at 3:00 PM.
