Enrollment and Attendance Data
What are the numbers?
As part of this process, DMPS wants to provide access to a range of information on data on enrollment and student population as it pertains to the new elementary school attendance areas.
The table below indicates the current enrollment at each DMPS elementary school, the number of students within the current and proposed attendance areas, and the total capacity for each elementary school for the 2015-16 school year.
If you would like to download a PDF with this information, along with information on the number of students impacted by the change as well as the number of ELL and free/reduced meal students by school, please click here.

Bold-Boundaries remained the same for these buildings.*These are the maximum number of students within the boundary. Students often attend other schools outside their home school boundary.**The basis for the calculations was information from the Council for Educational Facility Planners International document titled Defining Capacities. CEFPI is the leading national organization concerning educational facilities. Suggestions have been adjusted to meet DMPS programming (number of classrooms multiplied by 24 students as the average class size for calculations and preschool is not considered in capacity). |
