Twin celebrations of both Montessori Week and Cowles’ 20th anniversary as the district’s lone Montessori facility took place on Thursday, February 27.

An all-school assembly traced the history of the Montessori movement globally as well as its local one at Cowles, the only public Montessori school in Iowa.
