For many students at Scavo High School, Spring Break wasn’t about rest or travel but was rather an opportunity to earn certification in job skills. Working with Children & Families of Iowa, students at Scavo took a week long to earn certification in Microsoft Word, one of several computer-related expertises that major employers are expecting of new hires.
