East High School held a naming celebration for Ruth Ann Gaines, a former drama teacher at East and a current Iowa State Representative, to their remodeled auditorium on Sunday, January 8th. Before Gaines spoke to the crowd, school administrators, politicians and former students thanked her for long career of service.
