Students in Iowa State University’s Science Bound program at Callanan Middle School launched Cougar IV this morning, a weather balloon experiment conducted by students. With a payload of atmospheric instruments and GoPro cameras, the balloon near the atmosphere’s edge before returning to Earth with data for the students to study.
