As a member of the Civil Air Patrol, Central Campus Flight Instructor, Keith Boot, was provided with the opportunity to take a flight around Des Moines on Sunday, January 9th. He wanted to extend the flight experience to Central Campus Director, Tascha Brown. It was a cold morning when Col Jonathan W Lartigue of the Civil Air Patrol flew his way from Cedar Rapids in a Cessna airplane to provide an aerial tour of DMPS schools to Boot and Brown. Brown was able to take the “wheel” at one point in the flight!
