Academics is the star at DMPS, but food and nutrition plays one of the most important supporting roles! Imagine yourself helping to feed thousands of students breakfast and lunch each school day. You are needed in the kitchen and in the lunch line during the 2022-23 school year.

The job:
General Worker/Floating General Worker
Salary: $14.64/hr.
Multiple locations available throughout the district.
Daily hours vary from 4.5 – 5.75 hours depending on the building.
The district will train new hires. Interpreters are welcome.

Assist with food preparation, cooking and/or baking as assigned.  Assist with cleaning duties.  Meal service as assigned, pots and pan washing and/or dish machine operations and keeping an orderly and clean work area, storeroom, etc. Building assignment may change from day to day.

Please bring two forms of identification and either a voided check or a letter from your bank institution with your banking information on it.
