East, Lincoln, North Wrestlers to Compete at State

East High’s Matthew Jordan finished 6th at the 2016 state tournament. He and five other DMPS wrestlers will compete at this year’s state match.

Congratulations and good luck to the following DMPS wrestlers who qualified in district competition over the weekend for this week’s state meet at Wells Fargo Arena:

  • 106 pounds – Nathan Kahoe, Lincoln sophomore
  • 126 – Brock Esplain, East freshman; Shadrach Zarwie, North senior
  • 132 – Matthew Jordan, East sophomore
  • 138 – Deville Dentis, East sophomore
  • 152 – Shawn Brown, Lincoln senior
  • 160 – Tad Griffith, Lincoln junior
