Students On The Run at 2016 State Track Meet

Roosevelt’s Briyana Carter is the defending 100m State Class 4A champion.

The Scarlets, Huskies, Rails, Polar Bear and Roughriders are on the run this week as the 2016 Iowa Girls & Boys State Track & Field Meet gets underway at Drake Stadium. The state championship is Thursday through Saturday.

Students from all five DMPS high schools will be competing in 26 different events.
