Student-Musicians Selected for All-State Music Festival
Student-musicians from DMPS were selected for the annual All-State Music Festival on November 19-21.
Thirteen student-musicians from Des Moines Public Schools will take part in the annual All-State Music Festival.
The Iowa High School Music Association held auditions around the state on Saturday to select musicians for the annual All-State Music Festival to be held November 19-21 at Iowa State University, culminating with a concert in Hilton Coliseum on the evening of the 21st.
Congratulations to the following DMPS instrumentalists and choristers representing Hoover, North and Roosevelt who earned All-State recognitions in band, orchestra or chorus:

The festival concert will be shown on Iowa Public Television on Thanksgiving, November 26th, at 7:00 PM and again on Sunday, November 29th at 5:30 PM.
